An Hour With the Lord

Start: 9 Nov 2009 9:00 pm

Daily Mass is in the small chapel in the church, behind the big white wall.  The daily Mass usually lasts about 35 minutes and is a great way to end your day or begin a night of homework.  A lot of folks come early to pray and stay afterward to hang out in the lounge.  Come and see why we averaged about 40 students for daily Mass last Spring semester!

Fr. Will hears confessions 30 minutes before every Mass.

Get away without going away: take a peace-filled day with the Lord and others seeking His rest.  We prize freedom, but seem to have so little of it or sometimes too much of it: Jesus said that the truth will make us free.

Before the craziness of finals is upon us, come to St. Mary's to rest in He who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and you will find rest for your soul.

Steve Pullis and Nick Thompson, third-year seminarians @ Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit will give the retreat talks.  Steve will speak about the "Freedom to Love," and Nick will speak on "Love: What's Truth Got to do with It?"  Nick is a CMU grad, and a former wide receiver on Chippewa football team.  Welcome back, Nick.
